A post about skincare for all levels of skincare junkie–

Hello, glad you are back visiting my blog! I broke this down by what kind of routine most skincare junkies would advise you to do then talked about what I actually do while working an 8-6 Job while trying to maintain a work life balance, which spoiler alert, is a lot more minimal. To start, this is the most effective order to your skincare routine so your products work for you.
Detailed How To Skincare for Beginners
{for someone who wants an entire skincare regime}
Morning
- Cleanse
- Tone
- Moisturize
- Sunscreen
- Vitamin C
Evening
- Cleansing balm/oil to remove makeup
- Double cleanse – micellar water or cleanser
- Spot treatment if needed
- Serum or Retinol product
- Moisturize with lotion or oil
My More Reasonable Everyday Routine:
In the mornings, I’d cleanse if I need to, but having dry skin I can wash once a day and be fine. Ill moisturize next, I really like the Tatcha water cream at the moment. I use a vitamin C serum a couple days a week, I’m using The Ordinary bran one right now. Then I put sunscreen on everyday, if you don’t do that already, please do, nobody wants to age quicker than they have to.

For night time, I try to spend more time on my skin. I cleanse with a cleansing balm/oil to melt off my makeup. Then I follow up with a regular cleanser to double cleanse and make sure everything is off my skin. If I have a breakout, I’d put on some kind of spot treatment that has salicylic acid in it. Then a couple days a week, I switch between a serum or product with a low amount of retinol. And lastly, I use face oil to moisturize at night, either Jojoba, or argan oil are my faves and they’re completely natural which is a plus.

Once a week, I use an exfoliating mask, I referenced the mask I currently have been obsessed with in my Sephora Sale post. I try to use a sheet mask as well, does anyone else scare themselves when looking in the mirror at yourself with one of those bad boys on LOL…? And also using an under eye mask every once in a while just makes me feel like I have more control over my chaotic schedule.

I really like this dupe for the PTR more expensive ones
Gold Under Eye Mask

TIPS:
Did you know a humidifier is not only good to add moisture to the air, but its great to keep your skin and eyes hydrated??

Sleeping on a silk or satin (more budget friendly) will help reduce friction while sleeping.
Also making sure to actually wash your pillowcase more often is good practice always.

Clean your phone screen, I’m sure this one has been heard by nearly everyone but seriously, thats probably why breakouts happen just on one side of the face.
XOXO
