About Krystal Hsiung

I’m a UX Researcher and Designer.

Hi, my name is Krystal Hsiung and I’m passionate about improving experiences through the power of design. I’m always striving to educate myself on new experiences and the evolving world of human interaction. I love educating others on processes, concepts and theories related to interaction design. I’m a self starter and big-picture thinker who loves to help others.

Currently, I am pursuing my masters in Interaction Design at the University of North Texas in the College of Visual Arts and Design where I am also a teaching assistant.
Previously, I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas Tech University’s Rawls College of Business where I got my Bachelor’s in Business Administration in Energy Commerce. I held a landman internship with Cimarex Energy in Midland, TX before working at an oil and gas private equity firm in Dallas, TX.
I wanted to focus my career on user experience full time, and I have found a huge passion for improving user’s experience and ethical design. I am motivated by improving client’s user experiences through research and empathy.
